Have you ever stood at the edge of Denmark and looked down?
If you visit Stevns Klint, which we highly recommend, you aren’t just looking at a beautiful white cliff by the sea. You are looking at a time machine. The layers of rock in that cliff tell the story of our planet. Specifically, the exact moment the dinosaurs disappeared 66 million years ago.
It is a place of deep history and absolute beauty. And now, we are incredibly proud to announce that Copensense is an official partner of the Stevns Klint UNESCO World Heritage.

A Miniature Cliff for Your Home
When we started talking with the team at Stevns Klint, we didn’t just want to put a logo on a box. We wanted to create something that feels like the place.
We asked ourselves: Can we take a giant, ancient cliff and turn it into a small, handmade object you can hold in your hands?
The answer is YES, but it takes a lot of testing!
We are currently back in our Copensense studio developing a completely unique, hand-marbled jar dedicated to the Klint. Our goal is to recreate those famous layers using our eco-friendly mineral material:

The White Chalk: Representing the soft, white bottom layer of the cliff.

The Dark Clay: A thin, dark line to represent the "Fish Clay" (Fiskeler)—the most important layer that marks the asteroid impact.

The Flint: Jagged grey swirls to mimic the tough flint layers found in the rock.
Every jar will be poured by hand, meaning no two "cliffs" will be exactly the same. It is a little piece of Danish nature that fits on your coffee table.

Pure Light, Ancient Stone
To start, we are launching this special edition as an Unscented Candle. We want the focus to be purely on the visual beauty of the "stone" and the warm glow of the flame. It uses our signature 100% natural rapeseed wax and a crackling wooden wick to keep the experience raw and authentic.
(But between us? We are also testing a version with our Shoreline Memory scent—because nothing smells better than the salty air at the edge of that cliff!)
Where to Find It
You can already find our standard Copensense collection at the Stevns Klint Experience museum shop. It is a huge honor to have our handmade Danish candles sitting on the shelves of such an important place.
This special "Miniature Klint" edition will be available exclusively at the museum and right here on our website soon. We are keeping this one special.
